The American Red Cross has worked closely with the entertainment industry to encourage the American public to donate their time, blood and money as a way to help continue our humanitarian efforts. The relationships within the entertainment industry built throughout our 125-year history have made it possible for the Red Cross to provide ever-increasing support to those in need.

Our research indicates that the American public sees us primarily as an organization that saves lives, in any situation regardless of scale. This can be attributed in large part to the visibility provided by the entertainment industry, which serves to help maintain our image in the hearts and minds of the American public.

The Entertainment Outreach Program operates exclusively out of our National Headquarters in Washington, DC. We are here to maintain the long-esteemed relationship with the entertainment industry. Our current outreach to the entertainment community is in two areas:

• The National Celebrity Cabinet — the current American Red Cross National Celebrity Cabinet is an award-winning combination of well-respected actors, musical artists, television personalities and a Broadway star, that are "on-call" to help the Red Cross.
• Entertainment Production Assistance — production companies who often contact us for posters, props and technical assistance have a place to turn for assistance adding authenticity, credibility and integrity to a production.

We are available to do much more and will be pleased to assist in any way we reasonably can.
